Sorry I missed it.
Had life stuff to take care of.
Having run through the presentation though, I have a concern that might be shared by others who would like to join. The concern is that my skill set might be lacking to really benifit from the Monthly Hands-On Sessions. What would be the basic requsites to working in these sessions? Are there spesific software packages that would be benificial to have played with?
Beyond that, when's the first Hands On? (Forge)
- The training session will happen within the next 3 weeks. We are going to have a Pre-Training meeting next week to discuss the requirements (both for Windows and for Linux) and send off an email to the mailing list with the requirements. In addition, we will have these tools available to members at the training session. (smcnaught)
- In regards to the skill sets, one of the things I am working on is a training session on how to develop your skills. This will likely be a training session as well as a complete section on the Wiki site. I have a large amount of information relating to this. (smcnaught)
